10 Days of Awe – Day 5

Posted by on Sep 13, 2018 | 0 comments

It is Day Five of the Awesome Days of the Creator. Today we are called to reconnect with the rhythms and deeper meanings of the Holy One’s Fifth Prophetic Empowerment, which is: כַּבֵּד אֶת־אָבִיךָ וְאֶת־אִמֶּךָ [Honor your father and your mother . . . ] The operative Hebrew verb in this prophetic empowerment is כַּבֵּד [transliterated as ‘kabad’]. Our English Bibles translate it as ‘honor’. To כַּבֵּד is to assign value, and/or accord significance, respect, or esteem to someone. It means to think highly of and to speak and act respectfully toward someone or...

Posted by on Sep 12, 2018 | 0 comments

Awe is beginning to permeate the atmosphere. Wonder is rapidly rising in our hearts. Fallen human minds and cells of corrupted human flesh are slowly beginning to respond. This is Day 4 of the Awesome Days of our Creator. Today we are being called to reconnect with the Fourth Prophetic Empowerment of His Covenant. The Holy One instructed us: זָכֹור אֶת־יֹום הַשַּׁבָּת לְקַדְּשֹֽׁו [Commemorate the Sabbath Day; cherish and Be Watchful to Preserve its Holiness] From the period of beginnings, and through the era of the Heavens and the Earth, the 7th Day of the Week was designed by the Creator...

Posted by on Sep 11, 2018 | 0 comments

The third of the Ten Days of Awe is now upon us. On this day the Holy One calls us to reconnect with the Third Prophetic Empowerment of the Sinaitic Theophany: לֹא תִשָּׂא אֶת־שֵֽׁם־יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ לַשָּׁוְא [You will not lift up or carry the Name of YHVH in an empty, disrespectful, dishonoring way] The Holy One has entrusted to us His Name. We are His Covenant people. Wherever we go, whatever we do, we are carrying His Name to the world. For better or worse, we are always engaged in this greatest of all enterprises. The question is, do our lives, our attitudes, our facial expressions, our...

Going and Coming

A great message by Skip Moen – if you enjoy his teachings, please make sure to join us in August where he will be speaking in Kansas City, MO!   Going and Coming by Skip Moen, D. Phil. I will ask the Father, and he will give you another helper who will be with you forever. John 14:16 NASB Another helper – We all know this Greek word, Paraklete, “the Helper.” Growing up in the Western Church, we were told that this is a circumlocution for the Holy Spirit. This verse in John is typically used to establish the person of the Holy Spirit, the “other” helper who will come after Yeshua...
