Any ideas? Well, most of the world knows that the biggest solar eclipse will be happening throughout the mid-section of the United States next Monday. It will be a sight to behold – and will be a very rare occurrence. There are all types of discussions on the meaning of the symbolism and a myriad of dire warnings running rampant on the internet. Many are expecting something HUGE to happen. Who knows…scripture just tells us to be ready in season and out. So hopefully  you’re ready for something big – or simply a great light show. Are you ready for Yom Kippur?

Posted by on Oct 11, 2016 | 1 comment

Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, is only two days away. Are you ready? If you are asking “ready for what?” than let me explain. The Day of Atonement is the holiest day of the year for all of Judaism and is one of the Feast Days of the LORD listed in Leviticus 23. Read that last part again, one of the FEAST DAYS OF THE LORD. We must now approach the throne room and be admitted in, bowing and bending as we go. Will we have the scepter raised as it was raised for Esther? Are we ready to don the white garments of a bride? The ledgers lay on the table close to the throne…it is almost time for the King to open them and compare our past actions...

HOW DO YOU LOVE? There are various ways to love something. Some people love their dog, some people love their wallpaper, some love their cheesy pizza. Like I said, there are all kinds of love and it is shown or expressed in many different ways. Love between a parent and child is different than the love between boyfriend and girlfriend, between siblings, between friend. So we can see that there are different types of love, but what makes them similar and what makes them ‘godlike’? Yehovah’s compassion, His love is never ending, it is unconditional. Most of us can not relate...
