We believe…

Yahweh God is One
Deu 6:4  “Hear, O Yisra’ĕl: יהוה our Elohim, יהוה is one!
Mar 12:29  And יהושע answered him, “The first of all the commands is, ‘Hear, O Yisra’ĕl, יהוה our Elohim, יהוה is one.
Mar 12:32  And the scribe said to Him, “Well said, Teacher. You have spoken the truth, for there is one Elohim, and there is no other besides Him.

Yahweh God is Creator and created all things by His Word and all things are subject to the Word
Isa_43:15  “I am יהוה, your Set-apart One, Creator of Yisra’ĕl, your Sovereign.”
Isa_45:18  For thus said יהוה, Creator of the heavens, He is Elohim, Former of earth and its Maker, He established it, He did not create it to be empty, He formed it to be inhabited: “I am יהוה, and there is none else.
Col 1:16  Because in Him were created all that are in the heavens and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or rulerships or principalities or authorities – all have been created through Him and for Him. 17  And He is before all, and in Him all hold together.

Yahweh God is the Word
Joh_1:1  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with Elohim, and the Word was Elohim.

Joh_1:14  And the Word became flesh and pitched His tent among us, and we saw His esteem, esteem as of an only brought-forth of a father, complete in favour and truth.
Yahweh God is Redeemer and Savior
Isa_47:4  Our Redeemer, יהוה of hosts is His Name, the Set-apart One of Yisra’ĕl.
Isa_48:17  Thus said יהוה, your Redeemer, the Set-apart One of Yisra’ĕl, “I am יהוה your Elohim, teaching you what is best, leading you by the way you should go.

Isa_49:26  “And I shall feed those who oppress you with their own flesh, and let them drink their own blood as sweet wine. All flesh shall know that I, יהוה, am your Saviour, and your Redeemer, the Elohim of Yaʽaqoḇ.”

Isa_54:5  “For your Maker is your husband, יהוה of hosts is His Name, and the Set-apart One of Yisra’ĕl is your Redeemer. He is called the Elohim of all the earth.

Isa_43:11  “I, I am יהוה, and besides Me there is no saviour.

Yahweh God is Yeshua (Jesus) come in the flesh

Isa 44:6  “Thus said יהוה, Sovereign of Yisra’ĕl, and his Redeemer, יהוה of hosts, ‘I am the First and I am the Last, besides Me there is no Elohim.
Joh 1:14  And the Word became flesh and pitched His tent among us, and we saw His esteem, esteem as of an only brought-forth of a father, complete in favour and truth.

Rev 22:13  “I am the ‘Aleph’ and the ‘Taw’, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.

Yeshua is the Messiah’s Hebrew name…

which means “salvation”.  Jesus is the transliteration of Yeshua into the Greek “Ieosus” and then into the English “Jesus”.  The word “Jesus” is not an English equivalent to “Yeshua”, but an English transliteration of each Greek letter of “Ieosus”.

that sin is defined as breaking God’s law (Torah or instructions of God)
1Jn_3:4  Everyone doing sin also does lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness.

all Scripture (His Word) is instructions in righteousness
2Ti 3:16  All Scripture is breathed by Elohim and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for setting straight, for instruction in righteousness, 17  that the man of Elohim might be fitted, equipped for every good work.

all scripture (the Word) is still true and nothing has been abolished or done away with
Mat 5:17  “Do not think that I came to destroy the Torah or the Prophets.1 I did not come to destroy but to complete. 18  “For truly, I say to you, till the heaven and the earth pass away, one jot or one tittle shall by no means pass from the Torah till all be done. 19  “Whoever, then, breaks one of the least of these commands, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the reign of the heavens; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the reign of the heavens.

Yahweh’s law (Torah) is His instructions for all men

Exo 12:49  “There is one Torah for the native-born and for the stranger who sojourns among you.”

Yahweh wasn’t “cursing” man when He gave them commandments (the Word, Torah) to live by. Instead we are to:

**Guard it…

Jos_1:8  “Do not let this Book of the Torah depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you guard to do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and act wisely.

Jos_22:5  “Only, diligently guard to do the command and the Torah which Mosheh the servant of יהוה commanded you, to love יהוה your Elohim, and to walk in all His ways, and to guard His commands, and to cling to Him, and to serve Him with all your heart and with all your being.”

**Be blessed by it…

Psa_94:12  Blessed is the man You discipline, O Yah, And instruct out of Your Torah,

**Get rid of falsehood by following it…

Psa_119:29  Remove from me the way of falsehood, And favour me with Your Torah.

**See Torah as better than gold and silver…

Psa_119:72  The Torah of Your mouth is better to me Than thousands of gold and silver pieces.

**Delight in His Torah…

Psa_119:77  Let Your compassions come to me, That I might live, For Your Torah is my delight

**Love it and study it…

Psa_119:97  O how I love Your Torah1! It is my study all day long.

**Know Torah as Truth...

Psa_119:142  Your righteousness is righteousness forever, And Your Torah is truth.

**Let it be our Light…

Pro_6:23  For the command is a lamp, And the Torah a light, And reproofs of discipline a way of life,

**Let it be the apple of our eye…

Pro_7:2  Guard my commands and live, And my Torah as the apple of your eye.

**Not turn away from Torah…

Pro_28:9  He who turns away his ear from hearing the Torah, Even his prayer is an abomination.

Matt 24:12 and many people’s love will grow cold because of increased distance from Torah.

**Recieve the Torah (Word, Commandments, Yeshua) written on our heart

Jer_31:33  “For this is the covenant I shall make with the house of Yisra’ĕl after those days, declares יהוה: I shall put My Torah in their inward parts, and write it on their hearts. And I shall be their Elohim, and they shall be My people.

Heb 10:16  “This is the covenant that I shall make with them after those days, says יהוה, giving My laws into their hearts, and in their minds I shall write them,”

**Be connected to YHVH by following His Torah (Instructions in Righteousness) Being connected to the Holy One of Israel is the blessing!
Deut. 11:26-28 Behold: this day I set before you blessing and curse. The blessing is when you listen to My mitzvot and the curse is when you don’t connect with My mitzvot but turn away and follow other gods with whom you don’t have a personal connection.

Yeshua’s sacrifice is the only means of salvation from the law of SIN AND DEATH which is the curse of the Law..

Rom_8:2  For the Torah of the Spirit of the life in Messiah יהושע has set me free from the law of sin and of death.

Gal_3:13  Messiah redeemed us from the curse of the Torah, having become a curse for us – for it has been written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs upon a tree.”

Rev_22:3  And no longer shall there be any curse, and the throne of Elohim and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him.

Salvation is by grace alone through faith…

Deu 7:9  “And you shall know that יהוה your Elohim, He is Elohim, the trustworthy Ěl guarding covenant and kindness for a thousand generations with those who love Him, and those who guard His commands,

Isa 12:2  “See, Ěl is my deliverance, I trust and am not afraid. For Yah, יהוה, is my strength and my song; and He has become my deliverance.”

Act 4:12  “And there is no deliverance in anyone else, for there is no other Name under the heaven given among men by which we need to be saved.”

Eph 2:8  For by favour you have been saved, through belief, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of Elohim

Our obedience is the evidence and substance of our faith…
Works are acts of obedience once saved….

that Yeshua is to be our example on how to walk the Word (He is the Word), as opposed to using Yeshua as an excuse to declare some of the Word is now null and void or destroyed…
Mat 5:17  “Do not think that I came to destroy the Torah or the Prophets.1 I did not come to destroy but to complete. Footnote: 1 The Law and the Prophets is a term used for the pre-Messianic Scriptures.
Mat 5:18  “For truly, I say to you, till the heaven and the earth pass away, one jot or one tittle shall by no means pass from the Torah till all be done.
Mat 5:19  “Whoever, then, breaks one of the least of these commands, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the reign of the heavens; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the reign of the heavens.

Yeshua will return again to rule and reign as King from Zion…
Isa 2:2  And it shall be in the latter days that the mountain of the House of יהוה is established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills. And all nations shall flow to it.
Isa 2:3  And many peoples shall come and say, “Come, and let us go up to the mountain of יהוה, to the House of the Elohim of Yaʽaqoḇ, and let Him teach us His ways, and let us walk in His paths, for out of Tsiyon comes forth the Torah, and the Word1 of יהוה from Yerushalayim.”

Given the fact that the new converts were keeping the Sabbath, being baptized and following in the footsteps of our Savior; they understood that they were being grafted into the olive tree whose roots and foundations are from the Old Testament:

Rom 11:13-26

13 I am talking to you Gentiles. Inasmuch as I am the apostle to the Gentiles, I make much of my ministry 14 in the hope that I may somehow arouse my own people to envy and save some of them. 15 For if their rejection is the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead? 16 If the part of the dough offered as firstfruits is holy, then the whole batch is holy; if the root is holy, so are the branches. 17 If some of the branches have been broken off, and you, though a wild olive shoot, have been grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing sap from the olive root, 18 do not boast over those branches. If you do, consider this: You do not support the root, but the root supports you. 19 You will say then, “Branches were broken off so that I could be grafted in.” 20 Granted. But they were broken off because of unbelief, and you stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but be afraid. 21 For if Elohim did not spare the natural branches, he will not spare you either. 22 Consider therefore the kindness and sternness of Yahweh: sternness to those who fell, but kindness to you, provided that you continue in his kindness. Otherwise, you also will be cut off. 23 And if they do not persist in unbelief, they will be grafted in, for Elohim is able to graft them in again. 24 After all, if you were cut out of an olive tree that is wild by nature, and contrary to nature were grafted into a cultivated olive tree, how much more readily will these, the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree! 25 I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in. 26 And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written.
