God the King of the Earth.

For the Chief Musician. A Psalm of the sons of Korah.

Psalm 47

Oh clap your hands, all ye peoples;

Shout unto God with the voice of triumph.

For Jehovah Most High is terrible;

He is a great King over all the earth.

He subdueth peoples under us,

And nations under our feet.

He chooseth our inheritance for us,

The glory of Jacob whom he loved. Selah

God is gone up with a shout,

Jehovah with the sound of a trumpet.

Sing praises to God, sing praises:

Sing praises unto our King, sing praises.

For God is the King of all the earth:

Sing ye praises with understanding.

God reigneth over the nations:

God sitteth upon his holy throne.

The princes of the peoples are gathered together

To be the people of the God of Abraham;

For the shields of the earth belong unto God

He is greatly exalted.

Today, for me, was a day of pondering .. a day of contemplation .. a day of meditating .. on the state of the world and especially in my little corner of the world.
As I sat on my patio drinking a cup of coffee, listening to the goldfinches chatter next to me as they filled their tummies and drinking in the stillness of the morning, my thoughts drifted to how great God is.
No matter what we see in this realm of time, no matter how bad it may appear, how sick things may look….He is still in charge. He is the KING of all the earth! And when it is all said and done………ALL the peoples of the earth will bow their knee to Him!
Just a pondering by Pam …

    Yes indeed Pam the KING is still in control and I am very grateful for that. As things around us just seem to keep spinning out of control and evil is all around, we are able to take time out to know that we are in good hands. We know who is going to win.
