It seems that those always come in three‘s don’t they? Wonder why that is. Maybe we just start ‘noticing’ those stumbling blocks when one, then two hit you. Then by number three you’re like WHAT? What’s going on?? After three maybe one just starts over because one can only handle a few things at a time.

So it seems that we are again hitting some stumbling blocks…or maybe I should just call them brick walls? Not sure. Sunday night my little sister spent the night with me sitting in an ER room for my husband. This has been the third time we’ve been in the ER room waiting for them to help my husband stabilize his body. We were blessed that they were able to stabilize him overnight without having to admit him for another week of frustration and concern. So much love goes out to my sister, Michelle who just happened to be at our house for the night with her husband, Brad.  He stayed home with our dog, Serena. So a big shout out of THANK YOU to both of them!

Today is hump day – if you have been alive for the last 5 years, you know what that is. Today is the day when we stop, take a break and realize we’re half way through the week. And today, there is a blessing of refreshing from the skies! We haven’t had rain in almost a month and everything is drying up – today the ground was kissed by heaven.  As I did my morning walk around, the flowers and trees were reaching even higher towards the skies and it seemed they were happily drinking in the fountains let loose from the darkened clouds. I did too.

It was a time of refreshing, and singing praises to my Elohim, the Holy One of Israel for his provision. As I sang, I also sent up a few requests to my Father. One for my husband, another for my son and his wife, my grandchildren, my parents, my siblings and their families and for myself (the ‘cough’ has returned!). I know He heard me … and I thank Him for sending answers to all those requests.

Just one other thought….a verse came to mind as I praised His Name … you might remember it:

Trust in the with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight.
