Prayers for Sustenance

O God, Who provides food and raiment to every creature, open Your loving hand unto me, and sustain me and give me nourishment in a useful and honorable calling with will allow me to manifest Y’shua as my Lord. Help me to support my household in a worthy and honorable calling. Help me to support my household by lawful and not forbidden means, in a manner free from shame, disgrace, or unholiness. Let me walk in the way of the righteous before You, and by grace receiving Your blessing of prosperity upon all my undertakings. May I be empowered to assist in sacred causes, and be privileged to extend help and hospitality to others who are in need. Shield our home and our dear ones from all evil; let peace and well-being abide in it and in them; and in my may the Scripture be fulfilled: “You open Your hand and satisfy every living thing with favor”.

2) My help is from the Lord Who made heaven and earth. Cast your burden upon the Lord, and He shall sustain you. Mark the innocent man and behold the upright; for the latter end of that man is peace. Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and feed upon faithfulness. Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and will not be afraid: for the Lord my God is my strength and song, and He is become my salvation. O Sovereign of the universe, in Your Holy Words it is written: “He that trusts in the Lord, loving kindness shall surround him”. And it is written, “And You gave life to them all”. O Lord God of truth, send blessing and prosperity upon all the work of my hands, for I trust in You that You will so bless me through my occupation and calling that I may be enabled to support myself and the members of my household with freedom and not with pain, by lawful and not forbidden means, unto life and peace. In me also let the Scripture be fulfilled: “Cast your burden upon the Lord and He shall sustain you”.

May You be magnified in me and through me by Your grace.
