We are so proud of our eight grand daughters (no boys yet!) and wanted to make each of them their own slideshow….Still have a a lot more to go – but will update as I’m able to get more time to do that. Our grand daughters are our legacy, and our pride and joy! On our first grandbaby, I can remember calling my mother and weeping said, “Mom, your baby’s baby had a baby!”
Jim and Cheryl have blessed us with – Hannah, Sierra, Alayna, Meleah, Kylah, and Selah. And our son Jason and Nicci have blessed us with MacKenzie and Peyton. They range from 3 to 18! All are beautiful, sweet, loving and always smiling…well, almost always!
Please check back as we’ll be adding pictures of all of them soon!
Hope you enjoy watching them grow with us.
A time and season past…
This was written 3 years ago … Sept 26, 2017 … I lost my husband, Jim, just a bit over a year later – 12-18-18 … just needed to post it one more time. Today is day 3 of my son, Jason, passing out of this life …. the pain is unbearable – but it helps me to put words on paper – I pray that this does not offend anyone by doing so. It is simply my outlet for grief … This is the Hebrew month of Tishrei – day 6. Jason celebrated the Feast Days of the Lord and was a very deeply spiritual person – not...

My beautiful, sweet, loving and graceful grand daughter, Sierra Grace, has reached a milestone today! She has entered a new era in her young life and turns the page from 17 years to >> 18 << years. That number is very signifcant. In Hebrew the number 18 represents LIFE. As we dug into those numbers we found more ~ 9×2 = 18 – 9 is the number of the gifts of the Spirit and 2 is the number of a witness, so we can all witness today that she has definitely learned the gifts of the Spirit! Going further you have 3x3x3 which...

Today marks a day that will ever be etched in my heart…..and in everything I do, say and think. Jason Scott Staley 11-7-75 ~ 09-24-17 He came into this world quietly, and slipped out of this world just as quietly…without a word to anyone. His passing has left one of the biggest holes in a mother’s heart and it will never be filled quite like that again. Jason was the happiest baby I’ve ever held, always smiling, cooing and looking for approval. As a toddler, he loved climbing on my lap and hugging me with those chubby...

Yes….this is a personal post again. It is therapy for me. It has been three weeks yesterday that the Lincoln county sheriff knocked on our door. It has been three weeks yesterday since our world fell apart. It has been three weeks yesterday since our baby boy (even if he WAS 41), Jason Scott Staley, left this world for another. Three weeks. A lifetime. An eternity. Jason was my baby …. he came into this world smiling. He was a sweet, compassionate, loving and easy-going child and carried that on through adulthood. His blonde hair...

Today is the first day of the week … the day after my son, Jason was laid to rest. It is still surreal. I find myself asking – am I still here? I hear people talking in the background, my mother is keeping the two littlest granddaughters busy ….. making sukkah decorations, chattering nonstop…my brother is sitting across from me on his computer and my father is recuperating from eating too much sugary food yesterday. My husband? He’s off trying to fix something – keeping busy. I tried. Went out to water the...

We were going thru the days together as we approach the...

My granddaughter Hannah is going on 19 and is growing up to be such a beauty! Not only on the outside, but starting from deep down inside. She is kind, and gentle and caring – although she is kind of a neat freak! She loves to lead Hebraic Dance and is looking ahead to the future when she can either instruct or help others in various locations learn how to worship the King with these ancient and beautiful...
