Are You In A Battle?
Dear friend,
Right now the weight may feel crushing, the nights too long, and the questions too loud. You might wonder if God has forgotten the promises He once whispered to your heart. But hear this truth straight from His Word:
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” (Psalm 34:18)
He is not watching from a distance, He is near. Closer than your own breath. When everything in you wants to give up, the One who never grows weary is carrying what you cannot.
“Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you…” (Isaiah 43:1-2)
Notice the word *through*. Not *if* you pass through deep waters, but *when*. Hard seasons are not a sign that God has abandoned the plan, they are the very path He walks with you. The waters will not swallow you because the One who holds the oceans in the hollow of His hand is holding you.
You are not forgotten. You are not disqualified. You are not too far gone.
“Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning.” (Psalm 30:5)
The night feels endless, but it is not permanent. God is a specialist at turning midnight into daybreak. He has done it before, He parted seas, rolled away stones, turned mourning into dancing, and He is still the same God today.
So lift your eyes just a little higher than the pain. Look to the One who has already written the final line of your story, and it is good.
“The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” (Exodus 14:14)
Rest in that today. You don’t have to fix it, figure it out, or be strong enough. You only need to be still long enough to let the God who never sleeps fight for you.
You are loved with an everlasting love.
You are held.
You are seen.
And morning *is* coming.
When you are in the battle, believe for the breakthrough, in the strong name of Yeshua/Jesus, our Redeemer and our very present help.
Amen. ❤️
