Found this meme on one of the social media platforms…and it struck a note – a deep note. This short message means so much to me…because it ‘is me’.

So many times I’ve wanted to (and sometimes actually did) throw up that proverbial white towel and say “I SURRENDER”, which really, to me meant I’d given up. I wanted out. I didn’t understand. I would stand on my patio (figuratively and physically) and look up at the heavens, throw up the white towel and ask “WHY ME GOD”?  And he would answer me:

“Pamela…..pick up the towel, wipe the tears from your eyes and let’s start again” ….. all with a twinkle in His eyes.

So….what did I do? I picked up that proverbial white towel…wiped the tears from my eyes ….smiled a tiny smile … and said, “Ok God…..you got this”.
