A Life Submitted
Living a Life Fully Submitted to God’s Will
To live a life truly submitted to God means more than simply believing in Him—it means surrendering every part of ourselves to His will, walking in obedience to the instructions He gave us from the beginning. God’s commandments are not burdens, but divine guidelines that lead us into a life of blessing, peace, and purpose. When we choose to align our actions, thoughts, and desires with His Word, we honor Him as our Creator and embrace the identity He intended for us from the start.
Yeshua (Jesus), our perfect example, lived in complete submission to the Father. He humbled Himself and obeyed the will of God in every aspect of His life (John 6:38). He didn’t come to abolish the commandments, but to fulfill and embody them, showing us how to live in obedience out of love—not legalism. He taught His followers to keep God’s instructions, to love one another, and to serve with humility. In doing so, Yeshua modeled the way we are meant to live: with hearts fully yielded to the Holy One’s direction.
The first-century believers understood this deeply. After the resurrection, they continued in the teachings of the Messiah, walking in faithfulness to God’s Word while empowered by the Holy Spirit. Their lives were marked by devotion, community, and obedience to the commandments given by God from the beginning. They didn’t treat God’s instructions as outdated or optional—they saw them as the foundation of a holy and set-apart life.
Today, that same call remains. God is still seeking hearts that will trust Him enough to obey Him completely. Living submitted to His will means rejecting the ways of the world and returning to the path He laid out from the beginning—a path confirmed by Yeshua and walked out by His earliest followers. It is not always easy, but it is always worth it, because in obedience we find our truest freedom and our deepest joy.
Are you walking in this same calling?
