There’s something incredibly special about watching your grandchildren grow, not just in size, but in spirit. As a grandparent, the greatest joy is seeing them walk in faith and develop their own relationship with God. It’s a blessing that warms the heart in ways words can hardly capture.
I often think about the seeds of faith we plant in their young hearts—the prayers we say together, the Bible stories we share, and the quiet moments of guidance. These small acts are like gentle whispers of God’s love, nurturing their souls and helping them understand that He is always with them.
When I see my grandchildren praying, or asking thoughtful questions about God, I’m reminded of His grace at work in their lives. It’s a sweet reminder that their journey with God is their own, but we have the privilege of walking beside them, cheering them on, and lifting them up.
As they grow, there will be challenges and distractions, but I trust that the foundation of faith being built will be a source of strength for them. Watching them follow God is a beautiful answer to so many prayers, and my heart swells with love and gratitude knowing they are in His hands.
There’s no greater gift for a grandparent than to see their grandchildren walking in faith, following God’s path, and becoming who He’s called them to be.
Since this pic was taken….we have added 2 more great-grandchildren and one more on the way! It’s amazing what can happen in almost 3 years!
