Mid-week Ramblings

Mid-week Ramblings

Here we are again…mid-week ramblings. So as I catch my breath from the past weekend after having a really fun-time with family, I’m already looking forward to seeing them all again. The two great grandbabies are just sprouting up like weeds…and my grand daughters are not babies any longer either, they are turning into beautiful young women! How can this be?

Well, time marches on, so they say

And so it does.

Time has a way of slipping away….first it’s Monday and then all of the sudden it’s Friday! Where and how does that happen? Where was I when that happened? What on earth was I doing that I didn’t notice? Twilight zone?

We are already almost finished with the wonderful Season of Lights – the time known as Hanukkah. I really love this season … it gives me eight full days of reflection. I do have to admit that I had a bit of difficult time ‘getting into it’ so to speak, since this is the very first year, in all the years that I’ve been celebrating this historical remembrance day, that I’ve lit them – all by myself. Surely there are others out there that do the same? But, by the 4th day, I ‘changed my perspective’, and decided to focus on ‘self’.

With that being said, last night, as the 6th candle was aflame, I stared intently at each individual flame, almost becoming one with the glow. As my spirit quieted, my soul ignited and I could ‘hear’ the voice of the Ruach haKodesh. It was a beautiful moment of golden silence, with a warm, embracing, empowering gift of serenity.

It’s all in your perspective….

Change your perspective, change your world.
