This morning, things have ‘sorta‘ settled a bit…the abode I find myself living in has changed a bit in appearance. After sharing a home with my parents for the last almost 4 years and now finding myself ‘alone’ … well, it has been a roller coaster of emotions to say the least.

My mother, Veronica Michael Frierdich, passed on January 16, 2023 … and a bit more than five months later, my father Ronald passed on June 21. Both battled cancer…but because (I believe) of my mother’s insistence on eating all organic, little to no pharmaceutical drugs and a very active lifestyle, they both lived a full life – mom was 89 and dad was 91!  Mom was, I suspect, ill a long time – dad was sick only three weeks. And for. me? …. Well, it has been a total lifestyle change!

Now…it’s just me and my dog, Serena.

Seriously.

Yes, it will take me a while to get my head on straight, to make sense of all that has happened in the last ten years (also lost my husband and my youngest son!) but without my faith in a holy and merciful and just God … well, I’d be in the looney home for sure.

So stay tuned in, stay focused and continue to trust in Him no matter what!
