The Law is DONE!

The Law is DONE!

So the Torah/Law is done away with – right? WRONG! Let’s look at that again. Most that believe the law is done away with go right to Romans 8:2 –

“For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.”

So…wait, let’s read that again. Start from the word FREE.  What does it point to? It says we are FREE from the LAW of SIN and DEATH.

So, what is the law of sin and death?

You’d be hard pressed to identify that ‘law’ with Torah! How is that possible, you say? Well, let’s read a bit more from the bible. Those reading this little blog (I’m guessing) believe that Yeshua (Jesus) is the Word of Yahuah (God). If you are among those that believe that – than you believe that He is also the Ancient of Days, and has been around a long, long…..a very long time. Right?

Consider carefully these verses:

“…If a man keep MY saying, he shall never see death.” (John 8:51)

“…If ye love me, keep MY commandments.” (John 14:15)

“If ye keep MY commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.” (John 15:10)

“He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not HIS commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.” (1John 2:4)

Ok, what say you? If the one saying ‘MY‘ is Yeshua/Jesus – and we believe he is the Word made flesh, and the Ancient of Days, than we must come to the conclusion that the “saying”, and the “commandments” that he is talking about were the same ones that he handed down to Moses. Yes? Yes.

Here’s the million dollar question…” “Whom do you say that I am?” (Mark 8:29).” Each of us need to reconcile in our hearts who this ‘man’ was. Was he someone starting a new religion and teaching new laws? Or was he truly the Word made flesh and putting life into his words?

After you determine who YOU think he is, than you might want to consider that those laws were written on you heart. Maybe, just maybe, you just might want to consider those Feast Days and that day called Sabbath that >HE< thought were important and observed.

Just think about it…
